Rabbi Daniel Rose

Rabbi Rose grew up in Baltimore. He studied and received his semichah from Yeshivas Ner Yisroel and spent time in the Mirrer Yeshiva in Yerushalayim. He also received an MBA from Touro University and completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Rabbi Rose is the author of Building Eternity: A New Perspective on the Meaning of Marriage, as well as בּית היין, a small work on the holiday of Purim.

Rabbi Rose has also served as the director of Jewish Hospice Services for Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care. He also was staff writer for Artscroll and contributed to the Mishnah Elucidated project.

Before becoming the Rabbi of Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion, Rabbi Rose had the unique opportunity of serving as the Assistant Rabbi under Rabbi Moshe Hauer. Under Rabbi Hauer's tutelage, Rabbi Rose gained priceless insight and experience into the unique opportunities and challenges that the rabbinate presents. He feels deeply privileged and humbled to continue to build the shul in the spirit and the vision that Rabbi Hauer inspired.
